ABOUT OUR PASTOR
District Elder Henley is the eighth child born to the late Deacon William and Deaconess Lillian Henley. A native of Chicago, born and bred at Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church, Pastor Henley is and has always been very active in his local assembly
A SERVANT LEADER
He has served as Vice President of the Youth Choir, Treasurer of the Youth Ushers, Alter Committee Member, Assistant Youth Chairman, Youth Chairman, Usher and Assistant Sunday School Teacher. Currently, he is Local Sunday School Superintendent, Illinois State Sunday School Superintendent, Director of Global Missions and his most recent appointment, 2nd Assistant Pastor.
A HEART AFTER GOD
He has a heart for God’s people. Although quite active in church, his arms also extend into the community. He mentors young boys by serving as Managing Coach of Little League, where his son, William, coaches alongside. He’s an Illinois High School Association Basketball Referee. He serves on many boards, to include Christ Temple Federal Credit Union, and various committees. He is a Service Assurance Leader at FedEx where he has worked for the past 28 years. His work ethic has afforded him many corporate recognition.
Loving Husband & Father
District Elder Henley is a former licensed realtor, holds a Bachelor’s in Management, a Master’s in Ministry and is currently working on his Doctorate in Ministry. He is a Licensed and Ordained Elder in the Pentecostal Churches of The Apostolic Faith Church. He’s married to his sidekick in ministry and love of his life, Evangelist Denise Henley. They have 3 wonderful children, Anecia, Amber and William III and Zahari Eden, their only grandchild.
